It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Her Excellency, Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, wife of the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State. Mrs. Eno passed away peacefully in the hospital on September 26th, 2024, following a period of illness, with her family by her side.
In a statement, the family has asked for prayers and support from the public during this difficult time. They have also requested privacy as they mourn their beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Further details about her passing and funeral arrangements will be communicated when necessary.
Governor Pastor Umo Eno expressed his deep gratitude to all who have supported the first family during this period of grief. He assured the people of Akwa Ibom that, despite this profound personal loss, his dedication to the state’s progress remains steadfast.
