Breaking News: Police Service Commission Announces New Commissioners of Police

The Police Service Commission has announced the appointment of new Commissioners of Police for Abia, Lagos, Ebonyi, and Akwa Ibom states. This development follows the recent promotion of senior officers within the force, which created vacancies in these states.

The newly appointed Commissioners are:

– Isah Danladi Nda – Abia State
– Olarewaju Ishola Olawale – Lagos State
– Anthonia Adaku Uche Anya – Ebonyi State
– Miller Gajere Dantawaye – Akwa Ibom State

Chairman of the Commission, DIG Hashimu Argungu, emphasized that the appointees are expected to bring significant improvements to security in their respective areas. He urged them to act swiftly and effectively in their new roles, ensuring the development of a competent and efficient police force.

The Commission plans to closely monitor their progress to ensure they meet the expected standards. The approval of these postings has already been communicated to the Inspector General of Police for immediate implementation.

This development is aimed at enhancing security and policing in the affected states, and the Commission is confident that the new appointees will rise to the challenge.
