The Joint National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) has resolved to terminate the ongoing strike, which was initiated in response to various unresolved issues including the physical assault inflicted upon NLC President Joe Ajaero.
The suspension of the strike was facilitated by the intervention of the Federal Government via the Office of the National Security Adviser, NSA. The call-off action is set to commence tonight, on Wednesday 15th November 2023.
Nevertheless, deliberations regarding labor requisites will persist.
