President Bola Tinubu has granted approval for the appointment of new chief executive officers to head various agencies and parastatals within the federal ministry of industry, trade, and investment

Ajuri Ngelale, the special adviser to the president on media and publicity, released a statement announcing these appointments on Friday.

 

According to Ngelale, these appointments align with the president’s commitment to reviving Nigeria’s economy by focusing on trade expansion and facilitating small, medium, and large-scale industries in the country.

 

Hussani Magaji is set to assume the role of Director-General and CEO of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), while Ifeanyi Okeke will be the new head of the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON).

 

Charles Odii has been designated as the leader of the Small & Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN).

 

“In line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the president’s administration, President Bola Tinubu expects all newly appointed officials in this crucial sector to perform optimally in accordance with the new key performance indicators established by the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment,” the statement emphasizes.

 

The directive from the president ensures that all of the mentioned appointments take immediate effect.
