The Rivers State Police Command has apprehended three people for allegedly murder and organ harvesting of an Okada rider, Progress Iyogo, in Ogbaraye community, Abua/Odual Local Government Area of the state.
The deceased was transporting some items when he was contracted by an unknown person with five young men to give human parts for money. The culprits killed Progress Iyogo and cut off some of his body parts, and they fled after committing the dastardly act.
The police Public Relations Officer, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed the incident and added that the arrested has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for proper investigation.
