The United Arab Emirates has lifted the prohibition on Nigerian visas and resumed aviation activities.

On Monday, it was reported that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has lifted the visa ban on Nigerian travelers. This is welcome news for Nigerians who have been waiting for several months to travel to the UAE. The lifting of the ban comes as both Etihad and Emirates Airlines have announced plans to resume flight operations to Nigeria with immediate effect.

The decision to lift the visa ban was reached after discussions between President Bola Tinubu and his Emirati counterpart, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This historic agreement was finalized in Abu Dhabi and marks a significant milestone in the relationship between Nigeria and UAE.

According to Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, this agreement will allow Nigerians to travel to UAE without any further restrictions. It will also ensure that both airlines can resume their flight schedules into and out of Nigeria without any delay.

This move is expected to boost trade and tourism between Nigeria and UAE. Nigerians can now visit the UAE for business or leisure purposes without any hindrance. The lifting of the visa ban is a testament to the strong diplomatic ties between these two nations.

This decision by UAE authorities is however a positive development for Nigerian travelers who can now plan their trips with ease and confidence. It also highlights the importance of continued dialogue and cooperation between nations in promoting peace, prosperity, and mutual benefits.
