Edo State Ministry of Education onboard 414 teachers on the use of tablets as part of the EdoBEST 2.0 reforms priorities to rearrange and remodel the State Secondary and Technical Education.
The four hundred and fourteen (414) teachers were onboarded on 3rd August, 2023 at the John Odigie Oyegun Public Service Academy (JOOPSA) in Edo State on the use of Tablets for teaching and learning in our public secondary schools across the state.
The Governor of the state who is committed to making Edo State the Education Hub of Nigeria and Sub-saharan Africa has decided to extend the e-learning initiatives to encompass secondary and technical schools.
Dr Joan Oviawe, the Honorable Commissioner for Education has promised that by the end of September 2023, a total of 1000 tablets will provided and distributed accordingly.
